I was using the live CD of FC 10 with KDE, and it got as far along as a splash screen with a loading bar (the screen with the big blue fireball) and just stopped there. All I could do was move my mouse around.
Keyboard input seemed useless; I couldn't do anything like switch to a console or anything like that.

We use fedora quite a bit at work, and for the most part i've been pretty happy with it.. although I have seen it fail to boot sometimes.
And i'm usually just doing text mode installs on servers.
